DC Condensing Unit Applications:

DC Condensing Unit is directly in contact with the user's evaporator like a cold plate. No secondary coolant is needed, the system only requires minimal parts. How the DX System Cooling Cycle?

In DX unitary systems, evaporators are in direct contact with the heat source and hence the cooling coil that carries the refrigerant is also the evaporator. The refrigerator is introduced through an expansion valve into the cooling coil.

Mini-fridge, laboratory equipment, PCs & server cooling, and precision instructure cooling packages are the units utilizing such technology.

When the components of the refrigeration cycle-evaporator, condenser, compressor, and expansion device are packaged together, the systems or unit is termed a packaged DX system. If the refrigeration cycle components are split, then the system is called a split DX system or more commonly, split air-conditioners/systems. All the direct expansion units carry the essential components of a refrigeration cycle-compressor, condenser, expansion device, evaporator, cooling coils, and refrigerant. DX HAVC systems cool the zone air directly, unlike central systems, which first cool a circulating medium that in turn cools the air supplied to the zone.
